Regional Plans are the new format for regional planning policies. The one from EMRA covers Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. It replaces the Nottinghamshire Structure Plan. EMRA can be contacted on 01664 502555, their offices are in Melton Mobray.

Rushcliffe Local Plan

After all the work involved in producing the local plan, the consultations and the Public Enquiry resulting in the Inspectors Report (which rejected the housing at Sharphill Wood) Rushciiffe have withdrawn the plan. They are now preparing a 'Local Development Framework', the new format for setting out local planning policies.

In the meantime RBC will adopt elements of the local plan which do not relate to housing or employment and comments on modifications to this can be made up until noon on 6th November.
