SPEND AN AFTERNOON OUT IN LADY BAY
This event is organised by F.I.E.L.D.S. - a group of local people fighting the attempts by Nottinghamshire County Council to develop local farmland at the end of Trent Boulevard. Whilst maybe small each garden has something of interest to see, so we are sure you will have a pleasant afternoon out. The gardens are written here in a suggested order starting at either the farm or the school and using Rutland Road and Holme Road as a perimeter route from which to access the side roads. Children, accompanied by an adult, are welcome.

Twelve gardens will be open over the weekend - the majority of them this year are new. As always there is something of interest in each of them.
Following the success of last year, we shall be running the scarecrow competition once again - so start planning for that.
Have you seen our website? Thanks to Dave Griffiths you can catch all these details - and some really rather good pictures of last year's event - on www.ladybayopengardens.org.uk
Neat year Open Gardens will run in mid June - so if you are interested in opening or know someone who should, then contact Chris Guest on 9143273 or email: information@ladybayopengardens.org.uk
Remember - we are not looking for Chelsea Show gardens - we are just a community event of vaguely committed gardeners extending hospitality into our back yard patches.
Thanks to all those who offered help with delivery - as you can see we managed to piggyback the Community Association delivery. We will still need help on the day though. If you would like to offer help and haven't yet done so contact details as above.
