Rushcliffe Country Park Wildlife Watch Group

We meet on the 2nd Saturday of every month, 11.00am to 1.00pm.

Whatever the weather, meet at the Education Room, Rushcliffe Country Park, Mere Way, Ruddington, NG11 6JS.

Members and non-members welcome. Under-8's to be accompanied by an adult. Please come dressed for the weather! Suggested donation £1 per session.

Activity Programme Spring/Summer 2013


Saturday 9 February: ‘Hibernation’. Learn about how some animals spend their winter.

Saturday 9 March: ‘Spring into Life’. See the Park awaken from winter and have a go at making a human-sized nest.

Saturday 13 April: ‘Flower Power’. Be-a-bee for a day and play the pollinating game!

Saturday 11 May: ‘Minibeast Madness’. Search for wiggly and crawly critters, learning to identify ‘who’s who’.

Saturday 8 June: ‘Pond Dipping’. Wet and wild fun with frogs, toads, newts and more (don’t forget to bring wellies!)
