Friends of the Hook meeting
The second meeting of Friends of the Hook was held yesterday - 16th July in the Breckles Hall  at All Hallows.

It was well attended and lasted one and a half hours. Eight people put their names forward to form the committee required by RBC for the possible adoption of the Hook as a LNR. An LNR is a Local Nature Reserve. This designation provides almost as good a protection against development as an SSSI designation.
