Walk/Ride Days occur on the last Friday of every month. On these days people everywhere are invited to walk more and drive less or just wear something green! Our vision is to create a monthly city-wide party which celebrates alternative transportation giving people an opportunity to make community connections and promote a festive local atmosphere.

Who is Involved ?

Anyone and Everyone! Our Walk/Ride Days draw from many sectors of participating communities; from schools and universities, to businesses and retailers.  For more details see the website at:www.greenstreetswb.blogspot.com. The more people who join in and organise something, give discounts or incentives -  the more fun is created. So be seen, be green and enjoy the celebrations.

Every month participating retailers (Flower Bay in Lady Bay) and various shops in West Bridgford are selling a different badge for 20p. Once you have visited all the shops and collected all 10 different badges - before April 2010, you will be eligible to go into a draw to win a bike.
