Litter Picking in Lady Bay

In September 2008, a group of people who live in Lady Bay started to pick up litter from the area, usually on the first Saturday of the month. Why don’t you come and join us?

We have cleaned up along the canal, Pinders' Pond, The Hook, and around the streets. (You may have seen us, with our yellow vests and cheerful expressions.) We are provided with litter pickers, bags and gloves by Rushcliffe Borough Council and they collect the bags of rubbish when we’re finished.

The next Picks are on:

5 September at 2 p.m.

3 Octoberat 10 a.m.

7 November at 2 p.m. and

4 December at 10 a.m.

– meeting opposite Lady Bay School on Trent Boulevard – and we would love to see you there! We spend up to two hours on a pick, but if you can only manage 30 minutes or an hour, your help will be much appreciated.
