We are sorry to lose Dr Clark from Lady Bay and want to give him a parting gift before he leaves on August 4th, after 15 years of service in our community. A few of us chatted together and decided to find some way for Lady Bay to say thank you.
We realise that an ad hoc collection such as this will just be a token, but want to make some lasting representation of the great appreciation many people feel, as we wish him well for the future.
We will be giving him a specially commissioned caricature cartoon drawn by local artist
Pete Dredge, and further funds gathered will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières, which Dr Clark has chosen to work with after he leaves here. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international humanitarian aid organisation that provides emergency medical assistance to populations in danger in more than 70 countries.
See their website here: http://www.msf.org/msfinternational/aboutmsf
We suggest a £1 donation, passed on to one of the collectors listed below. Please drop it through their door with your name on the envelope, or anonymously if you prefer.

Please donate as soon you can, so we can include names with the cartoon. Thank you.
We will carry on collecting for a while after though, to allow for those away on holiday, and let Dr Clark know the total we will have sent to Médecins Sans Frontières.
Please pass these details on to anyone you think would like to contribute, thank you.
