transport LINKS aND INFORMATION

  1. No. 11 is our main Nottingham City Transport bus to town - website for Nottingham City Transport - https://www.nctx.co.uk/. No. 11B from town goes only to Lady Bay, 11 goes to Cropwell Bishop via Lady Bay and Gamston shops, 11C goes to the Watersports Centre via Lady Bay. Frequency down to every 30 minutes from 2026 because, like the 22 & 23, we didn't use it enough. Here are some tips to get the best out of our bus, including tips on the NCT App.

  2. No. 5 is our other almost local option, stopping on Davies Road by Abbey and Cyril Roads, as do the Trent Barton buses to Cotgrave & Radliffe-on-Trent/Bingham. Stopping bit closer are the longer distance services 90 and LC9 buses (more details on all these below).  The 6 and the 10 are our fall-back options plus the 7, 8 and 9, all with a long walk.

  3. No. 90 Nottingham-Newark does what it says on the tin but stops on Radcliffe Road, in both directions. Now operated by NCT so available on their App. The LC9 similarly serves Nottingham to Grantham using the same stops - operated by Centrebus, who have a live bus tracker on their website.

  4. The Cotgrave and the Mainline serve West Bridgford but also stop outbound from the city on Radcliffe Road and inbound on Davies Road.  See Trent Barton website for latest situation - https://trentbarton.co.uk/ and, now, live times are available on the Ride App.

  5. Nos. 22 & 23 bus service discontinued October 2022 - we didn't use it so we lost it.  Used to go to Morrisons, West Bridgford, Wilford, Clifton, Ruddington - what a wonder it was!  However, since the 11 now serves Morrisons (one an hour) there is now the possibility of the Lady Bay Circle Line, connecting with the 6 at Morrisons to get to West Bridgford shops.  If you think that's complicated, try changing Circle Line trains at Edgware Road!

The Ride App now covers most of our local services so here's a link for more information.

Here's a useful link to the implications of the recent changes to the HIghway Code as it affects vulnerable road-users.  See rule 206 on this link -  https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code/road-users-requiring-extra-care-204-to-225

Sporting Fixture lists & events

Let's not go into why it's not just the sports fans in Lady Bay who are interested in these fixture lists.
